In 1985, our Pastor was born Doran Ellis Belknap III (aka Bubba). He spent much of his developmental years living along County Road 929, in Coryell County, outside Gatesville, Texas.
In 2010, he married Jessica McKee and they made their home along County Road 929, Gatesville, Texas. The Lord has blessed them with eight (8) children … Abby; Matye; Riley; Wyatt; Rachael; Taylor; Hannah; and Avery.
While Doran grew up going to church with his grandparents, it was not until 2011 that he started attending regularly, on his own. At that time, he was attending a country church, located in the neighborhood. In 2007, Doran accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was later baptized, in Coryell Creek, on January 1, 2012.
Over time, Doran grew spiritually and gained a desire to teach God’s Word. In May 2016, Doran was given the opportunity to start teaching at the little country church. As the Lord worked on Doran, he gained a desire to Pastor a church. In August 2018, with the formation of Coryell Fellowship Church, that desire turned into reality. On November 11, 2018, Doran Ellis Belknap III was officially ordained as Senior Pastor of Coryell Fellowship Church.
